The Meon Valley Trail
The Meon Valley Trail follows the old track bed of The Meon Valley train line. It connects West Meon to Wickham on eleven miles of off-road path. The entire route would take a few hours to complete there and back with children, so we will be breaking it down into family-friendly chunks. Our first route starts in West Meon and takes you to the delightful village of Meonstoke where you will find an outstanding pub, a play area and a place to paddle in the river.
The Hayling Billy Trail
Ride the length of Hayling Island! This multi-use pathway follows the line of an old railway once used to carry oysters off the island. Most of the route hugs the shoreline of Langstone Harbour and has views over to Portsea Island. If you cycle the entire route, you can add on a short extension to get you to the beach for a swim and an ice-cream!
