What’s new?

  • We always want out guides to be as easy as possible to follow, so we have been to Selborne and updated our Zig-Zag path walk using easier to navigate pathways.

  • Did you know the car park at Hogmoor Inclosure is open until 9pm in summer? It was the perfect time to update our guide!

  • If the paddling area at Puttle’s Bridge gets a little busy on the Ober Water Trail, we have added a much less well-known paddling area just a short walk away.

  • We have added even more ideas for things to do on this walk around Winchester. As well as Hockley Viaduct, Wolvesey Castle and St. Catherine’s Hill, you can now find out how to visit the tea room at Hospital of St.Cross and the National Trust’s City Mill.

  • The restored Wey & Arun Canal was just as beautiful as we remembered when we re-visited this walk. This time we popped in for lunch at the Onslow Arms in Loxwood too.

  • The children wanted another visit to Crabtree Plantation in Basingstoke, so we dropped by to update the guide. They love the play areas on this short and easy walk, as well as this little stream.
