At the heart of this easy walk near Petersfield is the pick-your-own farm where strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries are ripe for the picking in summer and pumpkins in autumn. As well as this you can enjoy refreshments from The Tea Barn.

Visit the landscaped arboretum to see the colours change with each season. If you walk here in autumn, you will witness the glory of shades of gold, amber and red. Walk here in spring to see carpets of bluebells.

Picture postcard Bosham is the kind of place you will want to spend an entire day. As well as this walk there are craft shops, galleries, tea-rooms, pubs, a quay, stream and views of Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Do you dare try this walk to the ‘most haunted’ location in West Sussex? Watch out for flying bricks, phantom tractors and apparitions appearing at windows! You will receive a far warmer welcome, however, at the end of this walk from the tea room at Lordington Park.

The special heathland habitats of Iping and Stedham Commons are rich with wildlife including dragonflies and swathes of purple heather in late summer. Explore miles of sandy paths and find a garden centre tea-room with a play area.

Staunton Country Park has received a bit of a makeover in the last year or so. A brand new tea room, interpretation centre, play area and car park are some of the best new features, as well as other restorations to the site of the old house and its follies. A walk around the lake will not take long, but you could easily spend a whole afternoon here with all there is to do.
